How To Feign Injury

Welcome to the Rudi Latka's Soccer School. In this film top manager Rudi Latka shows you some how dive! Rudi isn't big on playing fair and has some tips to help you cheat your opponents. We don't know who he actually managed but after the producer had a visit from the Russian mafia in a sushi bar he said we had to make the films.
-
Step 1:
-
Holding the injured limb
-
It's important especially if there was no contact before your dive to work out which part of your body has been hit and to hold onto it before your physio applies the magic sponge.
-
Step 2:
-
The head injury
-
The head injury fake is a great way to get an opponent sent off or to waste time if you are winning a tight game. There are two main situations when to fake a head injury in order to get a player sent off; during the action you should exaggerate any contact made with an opposing player's hand or arm, during any kind of altercation if you are pushed even in the chest, go down clutching your face. When doing the head injury fake try to grab your own face as soon as possible and fall to the ground as if you've just been shot.
-
Step 3:
-
Time wasting
-
Remember, the longer you stay down faking your injury the more time you waste and if your team is winning this is good. Referees rarely add on enough injury time for the time wasted.
-
Step 4:
-
The response
-
If your fellow player goes down harangue the ref as soon as possible. Point at the injured player and demand that the fouler is booked or sent off. If the foul occurs in the box shout penalty as soon as it happens. If no foul is given either chase the ref down the pitch with a foul-mouthed tirade or drop to your knees and appeal to the heavens.
