Lighter fluid (the kind used to refill lighters) easily removes oil stains as well as gummy adhesive (labels, tape). Put tissue paper behind the stain, the apply a little lighter fluid on the other side with cotton. Then, apply a dish soap/warm water solution to the stain with a Q-tip. Rinse. This is fine for wool or cotton, although I'd test first on synthetics,

Vegetable oil can be removed by baby powder occasionally BUT not always!

Baby powder will also work - the powder absorbs the stain. Just coat the oil spots with powder and let it sit for a day or two. Has always worked for me!

I have found this to work best with DAWN the original dishwashing liquid. I would do like the video only after that I would let it soak in for about 10 min. before I washed it.

This worked on garlic butter stain! Ii used a paper towel underneath to soak up grease in washing up liquid, you could see grease left on paper towel as it was transfered from clothing to towel. Didn't get it all out first time repeated it after washing and it removed it completely the secoond time!

Worked great for me. Heavy fondue oil stain from exuberant youth. Worked in lots of dish soap to spots, then worked in diluted thru whole shirt. Pre-washed, washed warm, line dry. Spot gone (was there after first wash with laundry stainb remover.)
