How To Use An Eyeliner Brush

How To Use An Eyeliner BrushVideoJug have enlisted make-up artist Lisa Glassock to show you how to use an eyeliner brush properly and effectively. Define and enhance your eyes with these great eyeliner brush tips.

Step 1:

You will need

  • Powder eyeshadow
  • Eyeliner brush
  • Cream eyeliner

Step 2:
Use a brush with a short hair span for ease of control, and a pointed end to create flicks and get the eyeliner between the lashes.

Step 3:
Eyeliner brushes can be used with eye shadow or cream eyeliner.

Step 4:
When using an eyeshadow, wet the brush and use the edge of the powder

Step 5:
Remove the excess from the brush on the back of your hand

Step 6:
Sweep the brush across the lashline from the inner corner outwards

Step 7:
Rest your elbow on a table to steady your hand

Step 8:
Use the fine point of the brush in between the individual hairs
Use the same technique when applying a cream eyeliner

    I have "Asian" eyes and i want them to look more dramatic but i always end up looking like a raccoon...i now know why, she did not apply at the bottom part of the eye. Thanks!

    The cream liner is not a MAC fluidline, it is Smashbox cream eyeliner. Fluidline is a gel, not a cream.

    The "waterproof cream eyeliner" is MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, icingx.
